The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Short term) “Rio+20”, is taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, June 2012. Rio+20 goals are to bring awareness and define pathways to a greener environment. Thus focusing to discuss sustainable development and closing pseudo-agreements between the participating countries.

With breath taking views of the Sugar Loaf Mountain one of the Rio+20 Art Projects include a landscape of the ECO GREEN Fish Sculptures. The Fish Art creations consist of recycled plastic bottles that have been installed on the beach of Botafogo/ Guanabara Bay Area.

    According to our “Carioca” resources the ECO GREEN Fish Sculptures were only part of the Rio+20 events that took place in the month of June 2012. The Artist has not been revealed and remains anonymous. This took part for the sustainable development project (s) in Rio de Janeiro – Brasil.
